Ascot

What to See: Ascot

Ascot is most famous for its Royal Meeting in June every year, which is as much a fashion show and social event as a horse racing event! Steeped in history and a national institution, Ascot Racecourse recently had a massive facelift with the redevelopment of the grandstand. With an exciting week of horse racing the event gets bigger and better every year. You will undoubtedly spot many celebrities attending in their finest outfits with top hats and champagne aplenty… Study the form and have a flutter – it’s all in the name of fun and you might even come home having backed a winner!

The Royal Family travel from Windsor through the Great Park for the races.

Racing at Ascot also takes place on various dates throughout the year.
