Trains to / from Windsor, Berkshire UK

Windsor has excellent rail connections, and boasts two stations, both centrally-located and recently renovated. The stations are shown below.  Up-to-date train timetables can be found on Trainline’s website

Windsor Central Station

is located just opposite Windsor Castle. Trains from this station connect with the mainline station at Slough, just a few minutes journey. At Slough you can change for London Paddington or the west coast mainline. This is the fastest way to get from Windsor to London, although you will need to take a short underground journey from Paddington if you are travelling into central London. It is also the route to Oxford, Henley-on-Thames and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Windsor and Eton Riverside Station

is located at the bottom of the hill below the castle, a few minutes walk. Trains from this station link directly with London Waterloo, a journey of approximately 55 minutes. Eurostar services from Paris, Brussels and Lille arrive and depart from Waterloo.

My train ticket provides rail journey planning and is an online impartial retailer that sells train tickets for all UK train companies to all National Rail destinations, London Underground stations and over 275 Plusbus locations. By booking ahead customers can usually make a saving (on certain routes up to 80%) compared to buying the ticket at the station on day of departure.
