"Goswell

Goswell House is a Hotel in central Windsor with 16 en-suite guest bedrooms. Located in a cobbled pedestrian street that runs from Peascod Street shopping area to Windsor Royal Station which is where lots more designer shops and restaurants are, Goswell House could not be closer to Windsor Castle. It is literally a one minute walk from Goswell House to the gates of Windsor Castle!

The staircase of Goswell House is in the listed part of the building and it is surrounded by timber clad panels which give it a very regal feeling. As you go up the stairs to the first floor the bedrooms are off the hallway. With all en-suite rooms and air conditioning, the location is perfect for those wanting to be where it is all happening!

The town centre is very vibrant with lots going on. There is usually a street busker adding to the atmosphere and the Changing of the Guard that happens every other day (outside of Covid times) and the odd Royal Wedding here and there, Windsor has a lot to offer the discerning traveller.

If you need to stay in central Windsor for a night or two or even longer, then Goswell House Hotel and Guest House will suit your needs. Without the price tag of the High Street Hotels, Goswell House is in just as good a location. The superior rooms overlook Peascod Street and are spacious – they have a table and comfy chairs, a wall mounted flat screen TV, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a bath tub with shower over and a hairdryer. The beds are really comfortable with high quality mattresses and the rooms are clean and hygienic.

"sebastiansThis Hotel is located almost next door to Sebastian’s Italian Restaurant – one of the best Italian restaurants in Windsor. This restaurant is a locals’ favourite – they have a wood fired oven and make excellent pizzas as well as some of the finest starters and mains in town. Our favourite is the Gamberoni – king prawns cooked in a tomato, herb and chilli sauce with garlic bread. Yum!

It is always busy so it is best to book a table which you can do using the details on their website.

Book a room at Goswell House on their website at www.goswellhouse.co.uk – booking direct is often cheaper than using booking sites as they mark up the price.

"Goswell

The superior rooms have super king size beds which are 6 feet wide. These can be split into twin beds for two people to share a room that don’t want to share a bed. The bathrooms all have bath tubs as well as showers. Showers have really high pressure – great to wake you up in the morning. The air conditioning is a welcome feature on the hot summer days and the rooms all have their own heating controlled by the guest – have it warm and toasty or as chilled as you like!

As you walk out of Goswell House you turn left towards Peascod Street and turn left and about 50 metres walk you are on the High Street facing Windsor Castle. It takes less than a minute to walk there! Turn right out of Goswell House and you go up the stairs to Windsor Royal Station and shopping area. With designer shops and more great restaurants, it is the place to be in Windsor!
